In October issue of Kyiv Post newspaper Managing Partner of Mazars Ukraine speaks on the topic of the auditing reform in Ukraine as a balanced and promising project.

A draft of audit reform, prepared by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, has been presented last very recently.

This draft is deeply inspired by the audit directive that was adopted by the European Union in April 2014 and that is currently being implemented by all state members until June 2016.

The proposed audit reform for Ukraine is founded on key values: reinforcing the pivotal importance of governance, the competence of auditors and audit quality, as well as increasing the independence of stakeholders.

This project of reform aims to establish and maintain confidence at the highest level within a country that truly needs it, and envisages introducing the measures about what you can read in the newspaper on page # 13
